The Five Pillars provide Scott Memorial Hospital Team Members a foundation for setting
organizational goals and direction for service and excellence. They also provide consistency and focus over time.


Scott Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed, critical access hospital that has served as a beacon of good health for more than 50 years. In 2009, a $6.5 million state-of-the-art surgical services wing opened adding 20,000 square feet and two operating rooms. The hospital’s Everitt Women’s Pavilion cares for more than 200 mothers and their new arrivals each year.

Scott Memorial Hospital - A Tobacco-Free Campus
In order to promote healthy living, on January 1, 2010, Scott Memorial Hospital became Tobacco Free.
Tobacco use will not be allowed anywhere on Campus. This includes the parking lots and all adjacent buildings on the Scott Memorial Hospital Campus. Tobacco free environments are an important step in improving healthcare for all Hoosiers.
