Charles R. Buhse, M.D. Charles R. Buhse, M.D., is accepting OB/GYN patients in his office on the hospital campus. Dr. Buhse began his advanced education at the University of Hawaii, Honolulu, before transferring to Eastern Michigan University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He also has a B.S. with honors in Ophthalmic Technology from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Buhse then attended St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies/Bay Shore, New York, where he earned his Medical Doctorate. Dr. Buhse served Residencies in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Pontiac, Michigan, and at Wayne State University School of Medicine’s Hutzel Hospital. He also served as Attending Physician in the OB/GYN Residency Teaching Program at St John’s Riverview Hospital in Detroit “I chose medicine because I enjoyed interacting and helping people, and because I am intrigued by how the human body works,” said Dr. Buhse. “In many ways, much of medicine is body mechanics. The only difference is that in medicine your work is held to higher scrutiny than in other mechanical fields.” |
