Family Practice Physician Janet M. Buhse, M.D., is now accepting patients in her office on the Hospital Campus next to the Medical Specialty Center.

Dr. Buhse received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Eastern Michigan University and worked as a Human Genetics Research Assistant and as an ultrasound technologist before earning her Medical Degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies/Bay Shore, New York.

She served a Family Practice Residency at Sparrow Hospital Family Practice in Lansing, Michigan and as a Residency Team Leader at Mason Family Practice Center, Mason, Michigan. She was also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine teaching residents and medical students at Wayne State University in Detroit.

“Medicine is a mixture of medicine, applying that information and caring for people,” said Dr. Buhse. “Since caring comes naturally for me, I already had one of the elements necessary to be a physician. It is the caring that aids in obtaining the information required to best help the patients.”
