In her own words:
I was raised in Bloomington Indiana by a pediatrician and a nurse. They taught me how to care for others without regard to race, creed or ability to pay. Before I went to medical school I was a high school science teacher and college biology professor. I enjoy the teaching aspect of medicine.

From 1999-2001 I practiced medicine in Milton, Kentucky then practiced part-time in Warsaw, Kentucky from 2001-2002. I have had a small and selective independent practice in Hanover, IN since Sep 2001. My goal is to provide high quality, caring and affordable medical care. I keep my medical knowledge current by use of the Internet and regular attendance at continuing medical education seminars. I encourage patients to participate in their own care by asking questions and bringing in their own internet and popular media information. I express my care for patients by taking the time to listen carefully and explain thoroughly. In order to keep medical costs low we run a low overhead office, prescribe generic wherever appropriate, provide free medical samples and participate in pharmaceutical company patient assistance programs.
I provide regular well child and well adult care following national preventative health care guidelines. I take care of acute problems such as lacerations and infections. I do simple in office surgery, such as skin biopsy and nail removal. I treat common chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, migraine headaches and low back pain, as well as many others with attention to national standards of care. At this time I do not treat pregnancy or deliver babies.
