Larry Skip Hunefeld, M.D., Director of St. Luke’s Medical Ministry, grew up in Huntingburg, Indiana. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in biology. He graduated from Indiana University Med School in 1991 and served a Family Practice Residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
He married in 1988 to Barbie. They have four children, Sara, Isaac, Eli, and Leah.
Dr. Hunefeld is an Elder at and teaches at First Christian Church. He also enjoys hunting, fishing and gardening.
