Our partnership with JHHS
has allowed Scott Memorial Hospital access to new
high-tech equipment and
cutting edge technology usually not available to
small hospitals. The partnership keeps us
up-to-date
on new medical procedures and helps us to recruit additional primary care
and specialty physicians.
The partnership with JHHS also helps provide additional training for medical
staff and gives us assistance with community education.
Get Smart
The Jewish Hospital Network is now a partner
with the CDC,
the Centers for Disease Control, in an effort to alert the public
of the medical dangers of the over use of antibiotics.
Antibiotics are drugs that fight infections caused by bacteria,
not viruses.
Infections such as colds, cough
or flu are caused by viruses, not bacteria. Using antibiotics for
these problems can cause
antibiotic
resistance
Join us in the effort to reduce
unnecessary prescription of antibiotics. Learn when to use and when
not to use antibiotics on the CDC
website.
