• Serve on Get Healthy Scott County, weekly meetings, focus: Substance Abuse

• Offer building in Austin for Addiction Services

• Partner with the Health Department for the community-wide HIV response

• Attend CEASe meetings monthly

• Become host site of monthly CEASe meetings

• Work with the middle and high schools to promote student-led prevention campaigns

  • Also include skills training to say “no” to drugs

  • Increase drug monitoring in the schools

• Address: Transportation, Hip 2.0 Enrollment,

• Hold educational/awareness classes for primary care providers and community leaders

• Create policy at SMH to identify high-risk drug users, if have an IV will receive more monitoring (to prevent Code Gray)

• Adopt New ER Drug Policy
