The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) is an independent, not-for-profit organization that evaluates and accredits more than 16,000 health care organizations including Scott Memorial Health. JCAHO is the nation’s predominant standards-setting and accrediting body in healthcare, working to continuously improve the safety and quality of care provided to the public.
